The Allotment Shop is located on the Lansdowne Road site and is run by six volunteers, who make up the Worcester Allotment & Garden Association. It sells a wide range of items, from seed potatoes to fertilizers, bamboo canes to fleece and much more in between. The Allotment shop is a little treasure trove that will take you back in time, with the bill being totted up with pen and paper, and the volunteers always willing the share a bit of advice on how to get the best out of your purchases.
Anyone wanting to use the shop must first pay an annual membership fee of £2.00 and can then take advantage of the lower than average prices. The Association gets the best bulk deals it can find and proceeds go to local charities, and they contribute towards the costs of the Allotment Competition.
Opening Times: Every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from 10 to midday.
